Jennifer Kupcho fired a 66 on Sunday to win the LPGA Classic shoprite in New Jersey, winning her first victory in three years.
The American, who missed the Cup at US Women’s Open, observed the 18th hole to beat Ilhee Lee in South Korea by a blow.
He marked the first victory for Kupcho since his season of three 2022 victories during the LPGA tour.
“It’s just incredible,” said Kupcho. “I think I had trouble at the beginning of the year and that I had a lot of difficult weeks, a lot of difficult conversations and it feels good.
“I played well last week. I think that I and the open United States do not hear me sometimes.
“I think I just gave my ball this week. I hit him well this week and I just sank putts.”
Kupcho received $ 262,500 for winning the three -day event played on the course of Seview Bay in New Jersey.
In a highlight, Sei Young Kim acceded to the TROIS tour, 76 yards – the shortest hole in the tour this year – on the way to a 65, the best round of the soggy day. Kim ended alone in third place at 12 years old under the peer.

“So I took a 56, my corner, and I try to hit. It’s a bit downwind, so I try to throw it on the front edge. I hit the right number and I saw the rebound, one, and inside,” said Kim.
“I was like Wow. My skin everywhere was goosebumps.”
