Josh Charnley scored his 250th and 251st Tre League Super League while Leigh put an end to a sequence of six consecutive defeats against Hull Kr by beating the leaders of the Super League 28-10, while Warrington left him late to defeat the Catalans in Perpagnan.
The 34 -year -old winger reached his stage with an effort of the 67th minute before retiring again in the last minute of the first victory of Leopards against their visitors since the statement of the Challenge Cup in 2023.
Freshly out of last week’s victory over the Wigan champions, Adrian Lam’s team jumped in third place with this six series display.
The Rovers have been well beaten but remain at the top, two points away from Wigan despite the loss of consecutive matches for the first time since May 2024.

But this drought ended after eight minutes in the first Leopards attack. The first penalty of the game provided the platform and ended with O’Neill jumping the highest to collect LAM’s kick and tackle in front of the fans of Rovers.
The Rovers’ decision to play Danny Richardson, in place of Man of Steel Mikey Lewis, absent through the protocols of head injury, did not pay dividends.
Richardson was forced with only 16 minutes disappeared, bringing Jez Litten into the action.
Four minutes later, however, Rovers leveled when May gave a gap in the defensive line of Arthur Mourge, the top scorer of the Super League points, at the level.

Tanginoa reduced the deficit with a score of the 48th minute while the rare manipulation error of Bailey Hodgson presented the chance.

But this is where the return ended when Lam finished a brilliant break from the center of Bulldozing Tesi Niu after 50 minutes.
Charnley’s reference effort and the last -minute effort sealed the points and confirmed the leopards as real suitors to the grand finale.
Catalans Dragons 20-24 Warrington Wolves
Josh Thewlis marked a late dramatic essay while Warrington has strengthened his hopes of reaching the super League qualifiers with a hard victory disputed 24-20 against the Catalan dragons in Perpignan.
Zack Gardner’s tests, George Williams and Jordan Crowther helped Wire take an 18-2 advance at half-time at the Gilbert Brutus stadium.
The dragons responded after the break with Hull Hull’s tests on Loan Denive Balmforth, who crossed twice, and Guillermo Aispuro-Bichet to lead 20-18 before Thewlis converted her own late score to win him for visitors.
A third successive victory saw Warrington move on points with Wakefield placed in the seventh and in a part of Hull in sixth as the battle of the playoffs intensifies.
The game was threatened by torrential rains and thunderstorms after weeks of excessive heat, the ground security agents consult the managers on security protocols before kick -off.
The rear of the Catalans, Sam Tomkins, stretched the knee in the warm-up and was replaced by the 18th man Aispuro-Bichet, who gave an early kick after the great-back of Warrington, Matt Dufty, made a high ball in an offside teammate near his own line.
The visitors responded immediately with a test for the Gardner Center, which collected Marc Sneyd, who hit a post with the conversion.

Balmforth replaced Alrix Da Costa for the Catalans to Hooker and scored in the 52nd minute, passing lateral through the defense from 10 meters, the conversion of Aispuro-Bichet putting only 10 points between the sides.
The test of the match saw Nick Cotric and Tommy Makinson rushed into the left wing before releaseing Aispuro-Bichet to roll on the line over the hours, the conversion of the latter’s touch line setting up a tribune finish.
Balmforth strewn again at close range when Warrington failed to kick a kick and Aispuro-Bichet launched the extras to put the Catalans forward with six minutes to do.
However, Thewlis had the last laugh three minutes later, picking up a Strubber Williams in the right corner until the exaltation of the 800 Warrington supporters traveling, the winger adding the conversion of touchline to put the game in bed.
