13 inches and 15 inches equipped with Apple Apple M4 MacBook Air Stay the best ultraportables you can buy today, and now they are also better offers from $ 999 and $ 1,199, respectively. It is $ 100 of reduction on the previous generation, but it is not a blow on the quality of these laptops.
The two MacBook Air models remain remarkably fast, incredibly thin and light, and offer excellent autonomy. They are essentially everything you want in a premium productivity notebook. Of course, it would be good to see more than two USB-C ports and a faster screen than 60 Hz, but most buyers will probably not notice these shortcomings. (And if they really disturb you, you can always consider the 14 -inch MacBook Pro.)
Although the design of the MacBook Air has not changed compared to the M2 model of the 2022 era, it is still attractive today, and it also resists the ultraportable Windows. Air is not Apple’s fastest computer, but it is one of the most emblematic machines in the company, which is elegantly designed in a way that PC manufacturers rarely perform. Its smooth metal case is always ideal to hold, and its slim and light design makes it easy to travel. The 13 inch air of 2.7 pounds always seems impressive for its weight, and the 3.2 -pound 15 -inch model does not feel much heavier. (And for many, the largest screen is worth the portability sacrifice.)
The two MacBook Air models lasted much over 18 hours in our tests, so they will probably last two days of work without the need to be justified. And although they are far from playing PCs, we have always been impressed to see them execute the graphically intensive game P Lies at 60FPS in 1080p. – Dewine Hardawar, senior journalist
