International Ghana, who left Arsenal this summer, was accused of sexual assault against three women.

The former Arsenal footballer, Thomas Partey, obtained a conditional deposit after appearing before a London court for rape and sexual assault.

The 32 -year -old Ghana international was accused of five rape leaders against two women and a sexual assault chief against a third woman.

The alleged offenses took place between 2021 and 2022, while he was an arsenal player.

Party was charged on July 4, four days after leaving the Gunners when his contract expired at the end of June.

The midfielder stood his arms behind his back in the platform of the Westminster Court of First Instance on Tuesday, wearing a black -collar jump.

The footballer has shown no reaction because the charges were read and were not invited to judge pleas.

Partey lawyer Jenny Wiltshire, previously said that Party “denies all the accusations against him”, adding that he had welcomed “the opportunity to finally erase his name”.

Under his conditions of release under deposit, he cannot contact none of the three women and must inform the police of permanent changes of address or international trips.

In recent days, reports have linked party to a move to the Liga Villarreal club.

While the conditions of release under bail were discussed in court, the chief magistrate Paul Goldspring said: “I understand that he is no longer employed in this country and now plays in Spain.”

Party is expected to appear at Old Bailey Court in London on September 2.

A spokesperson for Arsenal’s supporters against sexual violence said that the group had been “deeply disappointed” from the London Club about their treatment.

Speaking outside the Court, Honor Barber told the AP news agency: “We never wanted to be in a situation where the club we love and the club that have values that we believe were playing, week, week, a player who is now faced with court appearances on six chiefs of sexual violence.

“We protested outside almost all home games last season because we wanted to disturb the wall of silence that the club set up around this problem.”

Barber said the group wanted the club to publish its sexual violence policies, “suspected anyone under investigation for sexual offenses” and “supports survivors correctly”.

British police said they first received information reporting a rape allegation in February 2022.

Partey joined Arsenal for 45 million pounds ($ 60 million) from Atletico Madrid in October 2020.

He appeared 52 times for the Gunners last season, scoring four goals. Overall, he played 167 games for the club, marking nine times.

Party also made 51 appearances for Ghana.

An Arsenal spokesman previously said: “The player’s contract ended on June 30. Due to a legal proceedings in progress, the club is unable to comment on the case.”
