The governor of Virginia-Western, Patrick Morrisey, announced on Saturday that he deploys members of the National Guard of Virginia-Washington, DC, in support of the efforts of the Trump administration to accelerate a military presence in the national capital.
The Morrisey office said that the mobilization of the National Guard will include 300 to 400 soldiers, as well as “essential equipment” and “specialized training”.
