The northern super-loaders climbed to the top of the hundred tables with a dominant victory over Birmingham Phoenix in a Headingley bordered by the sun.
A third victory in four games for the Hollie Armitage team was built around an stingy performance of their slow quisors, Lucy Higham and Linsey Smith, who each picked up two counters to stem the flow of Phoenix.
Their intervention was perfectly timed, after the visitors started sharply. On 44-1 from 30 balls with Emma Lamb and Marie Kelly, the Phoenix lost five counters in 20 deliveries, with the farce of Captain Ellyse Perry – Annabel Sutherland diverting a right journey of Kelly on the strains at the end of the non -attributor – summarizing the Phoenix weather.
From 59 to 6 years old, Em Arlott and Sterre Kalis rebuilt the sleeves impressively, putting an undefeated 57, the highest stand for the seventh window in the history of the female competition of the hundreds.
On a beautiful striking track, she nevertheless felt under peer. The operators of super -chargers, Davina Perrin and Alice Davidson -Richards, were both abandoned early – Perrin before she marked when Hannah Baker made a traction on the rope for six – and their 27 stand assured that the local team was still in advance on the match.
The Australian superstar Phoebe Litchfield, after starting this year’s tournament, has evolved in shape with an astonishing assault against Baker in particular, drilling the Spinner for a trio of consecutive limits to settle all concerns in the home canoe.
With his compatriot Sutherland at the other end, the pair crossed the finish line with a single alarm when Litchfield, out of 48, was abandoned in depth extra-covered by Baker.
Litchfield brought back his second half-century in the competition from only 25 balls, while the super-chargers’ stars finished things with 26 bullets to lose.
Litchfield, who was named Hero Match, said: “It was very fun.
Litchfield was also full of praise for super-chargers, Smith and Higham spinners.
She added: “They struck their lengths and kept the stumps at stake and forced Birmingham strikers to try something else, and we supported them on the ground. Our two small spinners have done wonders for us for a few years now and they have shown it today.
“We have had this group together for three years now, it has not changed much, and the vibrations are good. We had a fairly average game the last time, but we tried to park this and came out with a positive state of mind.”
