Dozens of people suffered minor injuries on Saturday afternoon when a yacht carrying 352 passengers crashed into a Hudson river pier in New York, the authorities announced.
Some reports suggested that the yacht organized a party when the accident took place in Henry Hudson Parkway and 125th Street in Manhattan shortly after 4 p.m. NBC News was not immediately able to check the nature of the event on board.
Thirty-five people were taken to three hospitals with non-fatal injuries after the accident, the fire service said.
A cause was not immediately clear.
The remaining passengers landed without incident, according to the New York fire service.
