Threads, Meta’s Competitor to X, now has its own hidden word parameter that works separately from Instagram. The functionality allows you to filter the publications containing words, sentences or emojis that you do not want to see in flows, research, profiles and answers.
Previously, the hidden words were linked to Instagram, so that the filters you have entered would be applied to content on the two platforms. Now you can create a separate list of hidden words on threads to further customize the content you see on the platform without impact on what you see on Instagram.
Threads have also announced that you can now define deadlines for filters in cases where you do not want to definitively block certain words, sentences or emojis. You can now define filters to expire within 30 days to “repeat” them until you want to review related messages in the application.
For example, this parameter could be useful in situations where you are not caught up in a television program and do not want to see spoilers on your flow, but you may want to see items related to the television program at a later time when you are caught.
This decision comes two weeks after the social network began to test a DM reception box It is separate from the Instagram DM reception boxes of users. Today’s announcement and direct messages updates suggest that Meta can work to make threads plus an independent service outside of Instagram.
While threads continue to take X, the social network has deployed many features each month. More recently, the company launched the capacity So that users see publications of other users on Fediverse in a dedicated flow and search directly for Fediverse users in threads.
The platform is also Test Spoiler’s textand now allows creators to use their wires Profiles to share the links and follow the clicks.
