Kingscote – who won the Sir Michael Stout derby on Desert Crown in 2022 – said: “I had beautiful horses to go up since Sir Michael retired, it was always going to be a year of construction, I had good support and I am delighted to set up a filly like her.
“Last year, she was a very unlucky horse in the Super Sprint and she progressed throughout. She was unlucky the last time I felt.
“She did a spectacular job a few weeks ago in Newmarket and I am delighted to go up to Harry a big winner because he is a gentleman and his court is such a happy court.
“I am delighted, he is a charming man and his staff is still as positive and happy, so it’s great to get them a nice winner. He has just trained his 100th winner, so I would say that two groups at Royal Ascot are special enough for him.”
