A preliminary report of the Indian authorities with regard to the Air India airplane accident in June revealed that the switches were returned to reduce the fuel to the engines a few moments after takeoff. Aviation experts believe that this means that the pilot error is unlikely to blame for the disaster that killed 260 people.
