Vincent Van der Voort targeted his former professional colleagues during the PDC tour saying “there are too many fanboys from Luke Littler”.
The Nuke took a sensational beginning for the defense of its crown of Premier League darts, winning four events in eight to maintain its position at the top of the ranking.
Van der Voort, who retired from Darts at the beginning of 2024, distinguished two of the recent victims of Littleler, Stephen Bunting and Nathan Aspinall, accusing them of being too nice for the feeling of adolescents.
He said, “Each little thing, they give him bumps or smiles.”
Van der Voort called for players to increase competitiveness in the Premier League – and supported the compatriot Dirk van Duijvenbode to do exactly this.
Van Duijvenbode Global No. 29 has not yet won a major television event and was not among the eight players selected for the Premier League 2025 season, but Van der Voort said he would prefer to look at him.

“Compared to some of the players of (the Premier League) now, I prefer to watch Dirk,” he added. “There is always something going on when he plays.
“Some players present themselves and act as the perfect son -in -law, but that does not bring a lot of excitement.
“There are too much smaller fanboys right now, so it would be great to see Dirk in the mixture. He clashes to compete and everything to win.”
