THE Premier league is finally back, but things are not so good West Ham United.
Graham Potter’s Side was responsible for a visit to the new newly promoted Sunderland yesterday afternoon but, instead of picking up early points, were comfortably beaten 3-0.
The result is a real alarm clock which, unless the club does something dramatic in the last weeks of the transfer window, they will be in real danger to descend the end of the campaign.
Fortunately, it seems that West Ham wants to bring an incredibly exciting talent, someone who could be their new Declan Rice.
It would be just to say that, so far this summer, West Ham transactions on the transfer market is nothing more than well.
While the additions of Kyle Walker-Peters, Mads Hermansen and El Hadji Malick Diouf improve the team, they are not really sufficient for a team that finished last season five points from the fall area.
Fortunately, it seems that the club wants to make at least an additional addition to the team because it goes around someone who could be his new rice.
At least it is according to a recent Eduardo Burgos reportWho said West Ham is interested in Andrey Santos.
In fact, the Spanish journalist revealed that the Hammers sent Chelsea an offer of 53 million euros, or around 42 million pounds sterling, but it was rejected.
In the current state of things, it seems that the blues do not want to sell the Brazilian, but if the last windows have shown us something, it is because they will pass to most players if the costs are correct.
Thus, even if it would be an expensive and complicated transfer to exceed the line, West Ham should do everything they can to sign Santos, especially since it could be their new rice.
He should probably go without saying that we do not suggest that Santos be quite at the same level as rice at the moment, but it could be closer than you think, and there are undeniable similarities between the pair.
The first is, unsurprisingly, where they play on the field, like, like the Arsenal star, the Brazilian is someone who thrives as a central or defensive midfielder and is a monster when it comes to breaking the game and helping his defense.
For example, while being an analyst respected Ben Mattinson described it as a “Duel Monster” which is “brilliant to project the backline line”, the talent scout Jacek Kulig has undoubtedly gone Even further and called it a “One man’s war machine in the midfield.”
However, like the former irons, The Blues Gem is able to match his tireless racing and defensive attributes with an eye for an objective and an ability to make things happen at the net end of the field.
In 34 appearances for Strasbourg last season, the 21 -year -old phenomenon scored 11 goals and provided five assists and was congratulated by Mattinson for the way he “Crashes the box” and its very impressive ability to “progress the ball”.
Finally, in addition to being so similar to such an incredible international, AS born in Rio de Janeiro has sensational underlying figures in its name.
According to Fbref, it ranked among the 3% most main fields of Ligue 1 field environments for the plated plated, the most important 5% for goals and goals by shooting, and the highest 8% for the dribblers discovered, among other metrics, all for 90.

These figures help justify the image of the Brazilian star as someone who can help suffocate opposition attacks in his half before launching a counter and raising the ball at the other end.
In the end, West Ham must add real quality to the team this summer, and even if it will be difficult, they should do everything they can to get Santos, especially since he could be their new rice.
