The top with high stakes in Alaska ends without a cease-fire contract.
The highly anticipated summit between the leaders of Russia and the United States ended without an agreement to end the war in Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was not invited. Instead, after a long telephone call with President Trump, he went to the White House on Monday.

Could the end of the war finally be in sight?
And what does the summit mean for Russian-American relations?
